The Department of Biology and Ecology was established on 1 January 2023 from the Biology group in the Department of Chemistry. You can study the Bachelor's degree in Natural History for Education, the new Conservation of Nature and Environment and the follow-up Master's degree in Teaching for the 2nd level of primary school. We already have our first graduates who are pursuing biology.

• Combinations of Natural History for Education are possible with mathematics, physics, chemistry, physical education and geography.
• We are located in the T building of the Technical University of Liberec, a few minutes from the ZOO, the main campus and the Jizera Mountains.
