Phytocenological imaging and soil respiration measurements as part of the DiGraSo project at the Mönchsberg site, May 21, 2025

Project researchers and scientists from the lead partner, the Technical University of Liberec — Lenka Pavlů, Martina Štrojsová, and Jan Titěra — together with project researcher and scientist Vilém Pavlů from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, participated in the phytosociological surveys. Soil respiration measurements were carried out by project researchers and scientists from the Technical University of Dresden (IHI Zittau), Friederike Felizitas Roy and Harald Kellner. Photographs from the Mönchsberg site were taken by professional photographer Tomáš Junek from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.

The aim of these activities was to comprehensively assess the vegetation composition, soil biological activity, and to visually document the site for scientific research and project monitoring purposes.
