A joint soil sampling activity within the DiGraSo project took place on 15 October 2024 at selected sites in the České středohoří Mts., specifically in the Babinské Louky grasslands, representing both high and low vascular plant diversity. Soil samples were collected from three paired plots during this field campaign. The sampling was conducted by the project coordinator from the Technical University of Liberec and project partners from the Senckenberg Museum. Students from India and Brazil also assisted with soil collection.

This activity contributes to the project’s objective of assessing soil–plant interactions and understanding the factors driving changes in grassland biodiversity in protected areas of the Czech–Saxon border region.
