A project meeting within the DiGraSo project (Causes of declining diversity of grasslands in protected areas along the Czech–Saxon border) took place on 18 June 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Technical University of Liberec (lead partner), the Senckenberg Museum, the Technical University of Dresden, and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
The discussions focused on the current progress of field data collection, particularly biomass sampling and botanical surveying on both the Czech and Saxon sides of the study area. The participants reviewed in detail the experience gained from the fieldwork to date, including methodological aspects of data collection, and presented the work schedule for the remainder of the vegetation season as well as the allocation of responsibilities among the partner institutions.
The agenda also included coordination of subsequent laboratory processing of samples and a timeline for the ongoing analysis of results.
